Social Studies Course and Pathway to Nursing Modules

Statistical Research

The module will enable students to apply and understand the outcomes of statistical operations used in Social Studies. Operation procedures will be followed both long hand and by calculator or computer and students will be taught to appreciate why specific procedures are chosen and the significance of the results in relation to the set context.

AIMS
The aim is to provide a solid basis and introduce a range of statistical procedures that are likely to be encountered in a Social studies orientated degree course.
