Critical Issues

The module will an introduction to some of the key concepts in the social sciences. The student will gain key theoretical understanding and the ability to critically evaluate research. The key ideas of quantities and qualitative research is studied in relation to the research cycle and the hypothetico deductive method. Differing philosophical points are raised and contrasted
