Music Technology College Course, Sampling and Synthesis Module

A more in depth study of audio production software in conjunction with Reason using rewire for music production and composition. Special emphasis will be placed upon audio manipulation, creating samples, and importing samples into projects from various sources.

Students will be made aware of recent developments in the sampling and synthesis world (hardware and software).

AIMS
The aim of the module is to create music using the technology outlined above and to increase awareness of the plethora of tools available to the contemporary musician.
