Music Technology College Course, Recording Studio Techniques Module

This module offers students the opportunity to learn basic mixing desk techniques utilizing a hardware multi-tracker. The module will cover line/mic recording and routing. On completion of this module each student will keep an original CD recording and produce a written summary of the creative and technical processes involved. Also a weekly lecture is delivered to crystallise and explore related issues.

AIMS
The aim of the module is to provide an introduction to audio production, from pre-production planning to recording followed by mastering.
