Ready for a Change?

Music Technology College Course, Multi-Track Recording Module

This module represents a culmination of the whole course.

Further explorations of the processes of recording, editing and mastering in order to produce more professional recordings.

Material produced in the midi suite will be transferred to the main studio area for development by adding contributions from other musicians and further editing and processing.

Alternative methods of mixing and mastering will be studied.

On completion of this module each student will keep an original CD recording representing an accumulation of all the work they have been involved with during the whole course. Also a weekly lecture is delivered to crystallise and explore related issues.

AIMS
The aim of the module is to develop more sophisticated audio production, incorporating all aspects learnt during the course, from pre-production planning to recording followed by mastering.
