Multimedia Full Time Course2D SkillsThis module introduces vector and bitmap images and their associated software. Students will plan and develop a range of vector, bitmap and composite images. During the module students will develop a workbook in support of their ideas. Research and problem-solving skills will be developed and encouraged. The development of critical and analytical thinking is ongoing throughout the module. AIMS In response to a given brief, students will produce images that demonstrate an ability to aesthetically combine vector and bitmap images. The work of mainstream professionals should be influential in supporting primary and secondary research as well as personal conclusions. Other Modules

Some sites seem to work better than others; find examples of good and bad sites and look at what makes them ‘good’ or ‘bad’. Reading of any related magazines i.e. Computer Arts, 3D World, Total Film, Empire and Digital Photographer. There are many online sites where industry professionals, students and interested people discuss and share advice and expertise. One such example is www.cgsociety.org.
