Information for Universities and Employers

Current students (and those who enrolled prior to Jan 2013) are following a University of Wales Foundation Certificate over 1 year full time or 2 years part time in either Social Studies including a Pathway to Nursing, Music Technology or Creative Technologies. The qualification is worth 120 credits at level 3, to pass the course students must attain at least 100 credits and have attempted every module.
Awards
Pass = an average of 40% (all modules attempted)
Merit = an average of 60% (all modules passed)
Distinction = an average of 70% (all modules passed).
Transcripts detailing individual module marks are available after external validation (which is normally in July)
