By Road

From the North

Via Chester, the A494 to Corwen-Bala then the A4212 to Trawsfynydd, the A470 to Maentwrog turning left along the A496 coastal road to Harlech.

From the East

Easy access from the motorway system via the A5 to Shrewsbury, the A458 via Welshpool to Dolgellau, then the A496 road via Barmouth to Harlech.
From Hereford/Worcester/South Wales, head for Newtown, the A470 to Cemaes Road, then Dolgellau and the A496 via Barmouth.
