Creative Arts and Design Technologies

and Multimedia Tutor - Geoff Bond

geoff bond multimedia and art tutor

I was born in Lancashire but my great grandparents were Welsh and moved to the North West from Swansea for work. I enjoy the thought of returning to Wales to live and work were I want to be.

In the 60's I followed a career in electrical engineering but ultimately moved into Art and Design graduating from the Central School, London in 1973 - followed by a PGCE in 1986.

I am pleased that I am now teaching across the curriculum at Coleg Harlech, in Multimedia and Visual Arts. I work with 2D animation, web technology and ceramics.

During the 70's and 80's I ran my own commercial pottery producing a range of work including ceramic models of the narrow gauge trains of Wales. I have artwork in public collections including Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Mostyn Gallery and Bury Metro.

I help develop and promote aspects of enterprise and initiative within the association that typically includes helping and advising students with business ideas and running the enterprise club.

In his spare time Geoff can be found wondering around Wales on his unicycle
