Creative Arts and Design Technologies Full Time Course

New Media

This module is devised to highlight the creative use of digital technologies. Students will be encouraged to develop research and problem-solving skills in their assignment – that involves non-traditional media. It provides an introduction to New Media both contemporarily and historically.

AIMS

  1. Demonstrate an awareness of the basic elements of digital art.
  2. Contribute constructively to discussions on New Media
  3. Experiment confidently across a range of non-traditional media.
  4. Prepare a presentation of finished work
