Email a friend Orchestral Summer SchoolPatrick Grundy-White - Alexander Technique TeacherPatrick studied French horn with Derek Taylor at the Royal Academy of Music in London before training to become an Alexander Teacher in 1990. He works with members of the Hallé Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic and has lectured and given workshops to students at the Royal College of Music and at Leeds College of Music. The Alexander Technique is a valuable tool for helping musicians get the best out of themselves as they play; from holding their instruments with less effort (thereby reducing aches and pains) to increasing confidence, improving breathing, stamina, helping to surmount technical difficulties and enhancing resonance and sound production. Patrick is available for individual lessons during the summer school.
