Individual Learning Account (ILA)

(ILA Wales) could help you pay for the training one needs to improve skills and get a job. You
may be eligible to receive between £100 and £200 towards the cost of learning depending on
personal circumstances.

Only available for courses up to level 2 and must be applied for 2 - 4 weeks before the course is
due to start. This contribution can be used to help pay for fees and books to be used on the
course chosen. It’s not a loan or credit card, so the money does not have to be paid back.

ILA Wales have been set up for people with no or low qualifications, irrespective of whether they’re
