This is a course that will take the learner through the process of making a round willow basket with a handle. You will use varying lengths of pre-soaked willow, starting with the basket base; working on the side weave; the rim and finally the handle. You will learn the correct terms for different parts of the basket, as well as the structure of the basket. This is a hands on course in which learners learn as they work. Running over two days, in which time you will complete the project. There is plenty of scope to progress through further courses if you so wish. Course materials included.
