This one year certificate course in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is delivered by Coleg Harlech WEA and Adeo Business Psychology and Projects Ltd.  Coleg Harlech WEA delivers the programmes units which in turn are accredited by Open College Network.  Adeo Business Psychology and Projects Ltd awards the certificate. The course is designed to provide a progression route for those who wish to train in the use of CBT in a therapeutic setting.  The course will enable successful applicants to develop their understanding, and use of CBT skills in a workplace counselling situation.

 

Ideally, applicants need to have, or be in the process of, completing a Diploma in Counselling, or equivalent qualification. Applicants from other professions who need to develop their CBT skills are also welcome, dependant on their qualifications and skill levels. All successful applicants must be practicing during the course as some assessment is via case studies.
